5 YouTube Title Formats Rising Right Now
Five title formats taking off on YouTube as of 30 Sep 2026, with the rise, channel count, hit rate and a real outlier video for each.
What this is
A snapshot from 30 Sep 2026. Five title formats from the Trending Formats feed that are taking off right now.
Formats age fast. Some of these will be crowded in a couple of months. Treat this as a list of what’s moving today.
How to read the numbers:
- Rise is how many more videos used the format this period than the period before.
- Channels is how many different channels used it recently.
- Hit rate is the share of its videos that landed as outliers.
- Multiple is one video’s views against its channel’s usual views at the same age. 2x or more is an outlier.
Each format below says which window its numbers come from (30 or 90 days).
1. Learn [Amount]% of [Topic] in [Time]
- Numbers (90 days): rise 9.0x, 8 recent channels, hit rate 50%.
- Example: Ahrefs, “Learn 80% of AEO in 19 Minutes”. 55,440 views, 8.16x.
- Use it: pick a tool or skill your audience keeps asking about, name the percentage and the time box, and make the runtime match.
Biggest rise on the list. Eight channels in 90 days is a real spread across creators. The other outliers are worth a look too: Riley Brown’s “Learn 99% of ChatGPT Work in 61 Minutes (Codex for Work)” hit 4.05x at 202,499 views.
The percentage slot is doing work here. It says the video is a shortcut, and the time box says how short.
2. [Brand] [Product] just fixed [Topic].
- Numbers (30 days): rise 4.0x, 3 recent channels, hit rate 62%.
- Example: iampauljames, “Google Just Fixed the BIGGEST Problem With AI Voice Agents (Gemini 3.8 Live Update)”. 4.24x.
- Use it: when a tool ships a fix for something your viewers complain about, say so in those words.
Only three recent channels, so the base is small. The hit rate is the reason it’s here. Another one from the same format: “Chat GPT Image 2.5 just fixed Social Media Content.” from Grow with Alex, 4.66x.
The pattern is a fix announced in the title. It lands when the problem is one people already know about.
3. How to Build & Sell [Topic]
- Numbers (90 days): rise 3.0x, 6 recent channels, hit rate 45%.
- Example: Nathan Nazareth, “How to build & sell AI Digital Products (2026 full guide)”. 185,451 views, 15.65x.
- Use it: it puts a how-to and a money angle in one title. Works if you can show both halves in the video.
The typical video in this format lands at 0.9x, so the wins come from a few big ones. That 15.65x is one of them.
Another good one: “How to Build & Sell AI Agents | Complete Beginner’s Guide” from The iScale, 5.14x. Both put AI in the topic slot.
4. How to ACTUALLY [Action]
- Numbers (30 days): rise 2.2x, 12 recent channels, hit rate 23%.
- Example: Sharif Mohsin, “how to ACTUALLY hit $1k per day dropshipping (copy me)”. 77,874 views, 2.4x.
- Use it: take an evergreen how-to you’d make anyway and add the capitalised ACTUALLY.
Wide use (44 channels overall) and a modest hit rate. Lots of channels are trying it and fewer than a quarter of the videos land. Go in knowing that.
The formats above have higher hit rates. This one is on the list because so many channels are picking it up at once.
5. The New Era of [Topic] Has Just Begun
- Numbers (30 days): new this period (first seen 31 Aug 2026), 3 recent channels, hit rate 100%, median multiple 8.9x.
- Example: GaryVee, “The New Era of Social Media Has Just Begun”. 752,907 views, 8.87x.
- Use it: reserve it for a real change in your field. Dan the creator got 16.12x with “The New Era of YouTube Has Just Begun (get ready)”.
Three videos, all outliers. That’s a thin sample and it could turn over quickly. It also has the highest hit rate in the snapshot.
Left off the list
A few formats showed up in the data and didn’t make the five.
- [Brand] JUST got [Action]… Rise 1.5x, 14 recent channels, 23 videos, hit rate 31%. Busy and useful. The rise is smaller and the hit rate is lower than the five above.
- How to [Action] (Without [Action]) Rise 1.8x, 18 recent channels, hit rate 15%. Very crowded, and most videos land close to normal.
- Turning [Topic] Into [Thing] Rise 2.0x with only 2 recent channels. One video at 64.77x drags the picture, so it’s hard to read.
What to do with the list
- Pick the format that fits a video you’d make anyway.
- Open its outliers in the feed and read what each channel put in the slots.
- Check the hit rate before you commit. A 23% format and a 62% format are different bets.
Correlation is all this shows. A format with a good hit rate has worked for other people’s videos. Yours still has to be a good video.
